I love to
travel and experience new things. But, in today’s busy world it is often hard
to find time to plan a trip, let alone take one. I am hoping that through
TripPlannerBlog, I can help you to come up with some ideas for trips, and to
build excitement to travel.
My name
is Christopher Bunton, and I currently live in Du Quoin, Illinois. It’s located
in Southern Illinois, and many of my posts about trips are localized in that
area. The posts can be used by anyone who is traveling to Southern Illinois, or
Paducah, St. Louis, Cape Girardeau, Evansville, or any place else.
I will
also be posting of travels about anywhere I can get to and whatever I
experience, in order to help the reader learn and get ideas on travel.
Remember, that a trip does not have to be around the world, or across the
country. It can be a simple trip to the local winery or restaurant. Not
everyone can afford or have the time to travel to Bali, or Ireland, or Egypt,
or even New Orleans. But, people still desire to go. There are many local gems,
and trips that I can hopefully wake you up to.
I have
studied Tourism Management, and believe that travel and tourism can help
communities succeed and grow. It can produce jobs and industry where none
currently exist. Not only that, but travel can help us find ourselves. It can
help us combat so many things that ails else, and give us an outlet for a happy
life. No one ever lies on their death bed wishing they had spent more time at
work. They wish they had traveled, loved, lived and fulfilled their purpose. They
wish they had spent more time with family. Travel can help with that.
Along
with TripPlannerBlog, I also have a Facebook page called “Experience Southern Illinois” which I created to help spread info about Southern Illinois, and show
off what we have to offer. It was created to help build community, spread business
and travel dollars, help local people get their information out, and see what’s
going on around us.
With
TripPlannerBlog, I hope you will find trip ideas, things that excite you to
travel, things that teach you, or grow you. I hope you will get out there, even
if it’s a short day trip. Just go.

will be growing and working on various ideas to help others. If you have a trip
